Students celebrate their Cardiff Award

Seven students from the School of Chemistry celebrated completing their Cardiff Award at the annual celebration event, which was held in Y Plas, Students’ Union, on Thursday 1st June.

The Cardiff Award is Cardiff University’s prestigious employability award that recognises extra-curricular activities and focuses on students’ professional development. The Cardiff Award is endorsed by the University’s Vice-Chancellor and sponsored by local and internationally recognised organisations, including principal sponsor EY.

The Cardiff Award has helped many students improve their confidence and professionalism. By encouraging reflection on the Award activities, students are able to articulate their skills to potential employers and feel better prepared for graduate employment.
