New lectureship opportunities at the School of Biosciences
13 Mawrth 2017
Cardiff University School of Biosciences is excited to announce the recruitment of three new lecturers to help deliver its innovative teaching programmes.
There are three permanent lectureship roles available:
- Biochemistry and Molecular Sciences (Teaching and Scholarship pathway)
- Biomedical and Anatomical Sciences (Teaching and Scholarship pathway)
- Quantitative Biology and Statistics (Teaching and Scholarship OR Teaching and Research pathway)
The Teaching and Scholarship pathway lecturers will be responsible for teaching, delivering, leading, and evaluating our undergraduate and Integrated Masters programmes across the relevant subject areas.
If appointed on the Teaching and Research pathway, the lecturer will also be responsible for delivering high quality and research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as developing their own programme of research within the School and therefore contributing to the excellent research record of the School.
Professor Jim Murray, Head of the School of Biosciences, said
“This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of high-calibre staff and work in a stimulating research and teaching environment, and is perfect for talented educators and researchers who are searching for their next challenge.
If you have excellent communication skills and a passion for creativity, innovation and teamworking, we would love to hear from you.”
To apply for one of the lectureship positions, please complete the online application before the deadline of Thursday 13 April. For an informal discussion about any of the three posts, please email director-biosi@cardiff.ac.uk.
