Public release of award winning software for health, economic and active travel modelling
24 Hydref 2014
sDNA, the software underpinning the research that won the 2014 RTPI award for Excellence in Spatial Research has been updated with a new version.
sDNA+ includes numerous new features to assist high quality research in health, economic and active travel modelling, including fully 3-d hybrid route choice models, output of routes and catchments to open GIS formats, and large scale network support suitable for analysis of Big Data.
sDNA and sDNA+ leverage the full OS Mastermap data model, integrating seamlessly the ITN, topographic and address layer2. sDNA and sDNA+ integration with ArcGIS and OS Mastermap delivers highly desegregated spatial analysis, enabling the understanding of individual environmental exposures on multiple scales.
sDNA will continue to be made freely available, while conditions apply to sDNA+.
