Urban theory: new critical perspectives

Exploring new perspectives on urban theory debates, a new book edited by Professor Mark Jayne, School of Geography and Planning at Cardiff University and Professor Kevin Ward, University of Manchester, offers a critical and accessible introduction to the development of urban theory.

The book explores twenty-four topics, including new additions to the urban theoretical debate, highlighting their relationship to long established concerns that continue to be discussed, and which also engage with rich new and emerging avenues for debate.
