Cardiff Alumnus appointed new CEO of QinetiQ

Cardiff School of Engineering alumnus Steve Wadey has been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of QinetiQ.
QinetiQ is a leading British multinational defence technology company which specialises in providing research, innovation and expertise to customers in the global aerospace, defence and security markets. His appointment will commence in April 2015.
Steve commenced his career with British Aerospace after graduating with a first class degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University. Before joining QinetiQ, Steve was Managing Director with the missile manufacturer MBDA. He also leads the Defence Growth Partnership (DGP) between the UK defence sector and Government and is a non-executive director of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) Research and Development Board.
