Staff from the Sustainable Places Research
Institute have been awarded the top prize for their efforts in the
Cardiff University Green Impact Project.
A UK Wide project, Green Impact is an environmental accreditation and awards scheme run by the National Union of Students, bringing staff and students together with their wider communities to enable and showcase positive changes in environmental practice.
This is the first year Cardiff University has taken part in the Green Impact Awards, and saw a total of 30 teams from across the University, sign up to take part in the project. The Gold Award was presented by Vice Chancellor Professor Colin Riordan at an awards ceremony in Cardiff this week.
