In March 2016 the Phoenix Project hosted an event for International Women's Day, with guest speaker Joyce Achampong, just before she left her role as Director of Engagement at the Association of Commonwealth Universities. After the event, Joyce, who is now Executive Director at the Pivot Global Education Group, spoke exclusively to the Phoenix Project about the role of higher education in a global context and the value of international engagement.
