Time for Tea

Earlier this month, Enterprise Rent-a-car held a special Ladies’ Afternoon Tea to help raise vital funds for the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute.

More than 40 ladies attended the event at St David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay, where they were treated to a delicious range of cakes and sandwiches, and entertainment from a Michael Bublé tribute.

This event followed several months of fundraising events by Enterprise regional teams, including cake sales, dress-down days and a special St David’s Day themed day, complete with Welsh cakes and costumes. And there is more to come, with quiz nights, coffee mornings and football tournaments planned for the near future.

As always, we are incredibly grateful to Enterprise for their support. Every penny we receive goes directly into our laboratory, supporting our efforts to develop new and effective cancer therapies.
