Indonesia summer project
27 Ebrill 2016
Following the success of last year’s project, ‘PLAYSCAPE’, we have sourced new opportunities to engage with communities and introduce fun and stimulating design interventions in both Bali, and Cipanas in Indonesia.
Please note that this is for information only and is not organised or endorsed by the Welsh School of Architecture.
This year the projects will run simultaneously and will last for a period of 6 weeks, with students having the option of attending the first 3, last 3, or the full 6. The cost for 3 weeks is £1150, and £1450 for 6 weeks. This covers return flights from London, and transport throughout Indonesia, along with accommodation, and breakfast on the weekdays.
The brief for both projects is to design and build a play and learning activity space for schools in both locations. Students will be involved in designing before we head out, and building their design on site. We believe it is a great opportunity to gain on site experience in a beautiful location, as well as getting the chance to work with like minded people from across the world to see your designs come to life.
