Screening, prevention and early diagnosis
Mae'r cynnwys hwn ar gael yn Saesneg yn unig.
Our research in this theme is primarily in relation to cancer, child health and wellbeing.
Cancer
Our research is aimed at increasing understanding of the influences on cancer risk and prevention, early symptomatic diagnosis, and uptake and technology application in screening (including colorectal and lung).
We use behavioural science to develop and test interventions designed to increase public awareness of cancer risk factors, support earlier diagnosis and improve screening outcomes, particularly among high-risk groups and with a focus on reducing socioeconomic inequality.
Our team and collaborations have specific interests in new technologies that bridge clinical, translational and behavioural research in the screening, prevention and early diagnosis of cancer.
