We are proud to have been awarded an Athena SWAN Bronze Award which recognises our commitment to promoting gender equality across our School.
We have committed to a range of actions including:
- wider and more positive advertising alongside specific proactive approaches to suitably qualified individuals in order to attract more women to advertised positions
- preparation of specific resources and activities to address student gender issues on residential field trips
- mandatory training of key staff in inclusivity and diversity and unconscious bias to raise awareness of gender matters throughout the School
- to ensure that female staff and students have appropriate support throughout their academic career progression.
