Pharmacy survey

Mae'r cynnwys hwn ar gael yn Saesneg yn unig.

You should have received a copy of our optimising pharmacy services survey in the post, or will do shortly.

We are undertaking a research project commissioned by Pharmacy Research UK and supported by Company Chemists' Association (CCA) and other relevant bodies.

As you are aware, the Government has seen the potential to deliver more services to patients from the community pharmacy. Whilst this is an exciting opportunity, the development may come with increased workload for the pharmacy team. Our research seeks to better understand how working practices within pharmacies can be optimised to achieve the goal of offering better services to patients.

We have been commissioned by Pharmacy Research UK to explore how the role and responsibilities of technicians and other members of the team can be enhanced and to consider ways to address barriers to developing the skill mix in pharmacies. We are very keen to know your views and invite you to participate in a survey to community pharmacists across the UK on this topic.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete and a freepost envelope has been provided or should you wish to complete the survey online.

All responses are confidential to the research team based in Cardiff.  No individual pharmacist, individual pharmacy, pharmacy type or pharmacy organisation will be identified and your individual responses will not be shared with anyone outside the immediate research team.

Research ethics approval for the study has been granted from Cardiff University.  A summary of the final report will be publicly available and we will distribute alerts about where and how to access it.  We will also seek opportunity to present at multi-professional healthcare focused events and through journal publication.
