This free one day symposium will highlight the "real world" challenges that can occur when implementing synthesised healthcare evidence locally. There will be a focus upon new and emerging methods related to both synthesis and implementation.
This symposium is an annual event held by the Joanna Briggs Institute European regional centres. The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) is the international not-for-profit, research and development Centre within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. The Institute collaborates internationally with over 70 entities across the world. The Institute and its Collaborating Entities promote and support the synthesis, transfer and utilisation of evidence through identifying feasible, appropriate, meaningful and effective healthcare practices to assist in the improvement of healthcare outcomes globally.
As a JBI Centre of Excellence the Wales Centre for Evidence Based Care (WCEBC) has an inclusive approach to evidence in order to produce usable "real world" clinical guidelines.
