Overview
The South West Structural Biology Consortium (SWSBC) was initiated by Prof. Jenny Littlechild and Prof. Leo Brady.
It is a forum where structural biology groups in the South West of England could come together to present their research and network with each other.
Since that initial meeting in Exeter, the consortium has expanded to include researchers interested in structural biology - including the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Reading, Portsmouth, Southampton and Sussex - with an annual meeting moving between each of the cities.
Location
SWSBC 2017 will take place in the Psychology Tower Building on Cardiff University’s main campus. This is within walking distance of the city centre as well as Cardiff Castle and the surrounding Bute Park.
Accommodation will be provided at Colum and Aberconway Halls of Residence, 5-10 minutes' walk from the main conference site.
The conference dinner will be hosted at Cardiff’s iconic Principality Stadium – the home of Welsh rugby.
