Here you will find links to some suggested resources put together by staff and students at the Cardiff University School of Physics and Astronomy.
Some of these resources and activities have been created by us, some in collaboration with us, and some are from external organisations - though they all come highly recommended! There is a really broad range of resources including:

All resources are available in English and some are also available in Welsh.
Examples of our resources
Ada's Adventures in Science
This is a comic created by the scientist and artist partnership, Edward Gomez and Laura Sorvala. This series of three comic books excite and empower kids to do science. The comic book series features Ada, a girl who isn't afraid to ask questions about the world around her, as she goes on her adventures in Science.
Suitable for KS2, KS3 and families. There are also accompanying educational resources.
Augmented Reality Physics Resources
Augmented Reality inserts 3D objects in to the real world. Just like the popular Pokemon Go, you can explore planets in our solar system, black holes, supernovae and much more, which appear on the table in front of you. All you need is an android smartphone or tablet to get started.
Suitable for KS2, KS3 and KS4.
Pythagorean Astronomy Podcast
A monthly astronomy podcast from the School of Physics and Astronomy, covering astronomy news from around the world.
Suitable for KS2 and above.
