How we're creating a bee friendly city and helping the fight against superbugs.
Cutting edge research exploring how the pollination of certain plants could lead to the development of drugs to treat serious medical conditions now resistant to traditional antibiotics - otherwise known as 'superbugs'.
Creating a bee friendly city
Numerous bee hives have been placed around Cardiff University. Specific plants have also been embedded throughout the campus grounds to encourage the production of super-honey and aid the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences' superbug research.
