Trade Justice Wales

This project aims to give Welsh civic society a voice in post-Brexit trade policy.

Post-Brexit the UK must establish its own trade policy and agreements. This is done at the UK level with limited opportunities for input from Wales.

This project will create a forum that gives organisations in Wales a voice to ensure trade policy delivers Welsh ambitions for sustainable development, crucial to shaping the Welsh economy’s recovery from COVID-19.

Through this project, civic society in Wales will have the skills and knowledge to scrutinise and advocate for agreements that pursue ambitious standards and objectives in important areas such as animal welfare, climate change, environment, equality, fair trade, food, labour rights, social affairs, health and sustainable development.
