Representing public feeling in tax reform
This project aims to give a voice to people who are under-represented in policy aspects of civic life, particularly in decision-making about taxes and the benefits system.
The project will expand our group of diverse experts to identify where tax reform is most needed and create a digital platform for two-way communication between researchers and the public and for public education. The under-represented groups the project will focus on include women at home and in the workplace, ethnic minorities, carers and the disabled.
This project is led by the Cardiff Interdisciplinary Taxation Research Group (CITRG) known for high quality, public value research on taxation policy and administration and tax system reform.
