Research Wales Innovation Fund (RWIF)

Supported by Research Wales Innovation Fund (RWIF), the Civic Mission and Public Engagement Progression Fund was created to develop pilot project with external partners, and to test the feasibility of collaborative civic or public engagement projects within the region.

Robotics Sports Day

Creating a robotics sports day, delivering cross-curricular Computer Science themed activities and workshops for Cardiff schools.

Third Sector Research Partnership

Piloting pro bono research to support small Third Sector organisations

Cathays Futures

Reimagining and creating socially just futures and wellbeing for the Cathays community

Children as sustainable citizens

Delivering a new educational package for children to explore and learn about sustainability in primary schools

Pump Priming Fund

The South Wales Civic Engagement Partnership’s (SWCEP), comprising of 10 further and higher education institutions, established a Pump Priming Fund for collaborative civic engagement projects within the Cardiff Capital Region. Projects awarded funding collaborated with with other institutions of the partnership to expand the impact of each project across the region.
