Grange All Stars footballers are expanding their team and are mentoring young people in their community

The idea

Grange All Stars currently has players from over 10 different nationalities, it is a club that celebrates diversity and is on a mission to bring the community together. We are aiming to grow the club and bring in a youth team to help the youngsters of Grangetown play for a local team.

Progress

The players, supported by Community Gateway, work with young people every Wednesday on Grange Gardens 3G pitch to support their personal development and football skills.

The current players are currently training to complete their professional coaching badges.

Next steps

To continue to grow the club and increase the attendance to Wednesday sessions. The project also plans to gather feedback from participants and present findings to both the community and partners.
