Dr Antonio Ioris and three Brazilian colleagues – the visiting scholars Daniela M. Figueiredo (UFMT), Jose Sobreiro Filho (UFPA) and Edmundo Oderich (UFRGS) - are holding a roundtable event at Sustainable Places Research Institute to discuss the recent political developments in Brazil and what it means for the future of  the country, in particular the Amazon Region.

The roundtable discussion will look at historical and recent political developments in Brazil,  taking an agricultural and environmental focus.
