Assuming Gender will be welcoming Dr Monica Pearl, a lecturer at the University of Manchester.

The title of her paper is “'A Thousand Kindred Spirits”: Recent Reflections of AIDS in U.S. Cinema, Culture, and Conversation'.

The event will be on Thursday 6 December at 5pm, in room 2.01 of the John Percival Building. The talk will begin at 5.30pm, and will be preceded by a small wine reception.
