A celebration of African music & world poetry to raise money for Educational Awards in Sierra Leone.
Featuring: The Lanyi West African Ensemble, the Oasis World Choir & Band, Zé Kouyaté playing the West African Harp, and poets Christina Thatcher, Clare Potter and Bryan Marshall reading global poems for World Poetry Day.
Tickets are £12, and include light refreshments & 1 glass of wine. Purchase tickets in advance by emailing – easl@cardiff.ac.uk or directly from Cardiff University’s Trevithick Library, Science Library or Health Library EASL is a charity run by the University’s Library Service which supports education for children in Sierra Leone.
