Abstract
Sun Wukong, a well-known artistic figure in China from Journey to the West, is a captivating archetype. How was this character created, and how did he become such a charming artistic icon? As Journey to the West evolved from a story of a pilgrimage for scriptures into a tale of adventurous journeys, it absorbed a wealth of artistic resources. How did it seamlessly integrate these elements to present a multi-dimensional theme within the work? Let’s explore the artistic world of Journey to the West together.
