Cardiff University’s School of Archaeology will demonstrate how our ancestors lived in our purpose-built roundhouse. Our award-winning Pharmabees project will demonstrate how our insect neighbours help us to discover new medicines. You’ll also be able to experience what it’s like to fly like a bee, and go inside a beehive using virtual reality. Make your own simple electric motor with our School of Engineering, learn how motors work and how they are essential for our modern lives.

Join food scientists from Cardiff Metropolitan University to learn about health eating choices and how new medicines are discovered.

Meet staff and students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to explore the life cycle of frogs in a puppet-making workshop.  Enjoy singing and music to compose a song based on the sounds of nature.

Take part in an eco printing workshop with local artists using plants and foliage from the garden.
