The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) funds the Research and Development of new exciting, innovative solutions to address unmet needs within health, where no readily available market solution exists.
SBRI offers organisations the opportunity to work directly with the public sector to develop new technologies and processes, helping to meet efficiency targets and improving public services. The initiative is open to any organisation, regardless of size or previous experience of working in a specific sector.
Hosted by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and funded by Welsh Government, the SBRI Centre of Excellence Wales offers an excellent opportunity for businesses in Wales, especially early stage companies, to develop and demonstrate technology, supported by an intelligent lead customer. It aims to use the power of government procurement to accelerate technology development, supporting projects through the stages of feasibility and prototyping which are typically hard to fund. New ideas can be explored through a phased development programme that will minimise risk for both parties and help identify the most promising projects.
Join us on 12 March to find out more about the work of SBRI, and the opportunities available to you and your organisation.
