Chinese New Year Celebrations at The Red Dragon Centre

Join Cardiff Confucius Institute, in collaboration with The Red Dragon Centre, in celebrating Chinese New Year: Year of the Dragon.

This event is free and will be a special afternoon of entertainment.

Between 12:00 and 16:00 there will be a chance to learn about Chinese culture and enjoy a variety of traditional activities hosted by tutors from the Cardiff Confucius Institute, from paper cutting and calligraphy to lantern making and more.

Alongside the workshops, the day will also feature entertainment from a friendly and charismatic Chinese Lion. This vibrant *character will weave its way through the festivities and interact with visitors during 20-minute appearances planned at 12:30, 14:00, and 15:30.

*please note this is not a lion dance performance act.

No booking required, just visit The Red Dragon Centre between 12:00 and 16:00.
