Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival 2024

Join Cardiff Confucius Institute, in collaboration with Cardiff Central Library Hub and the local Chinese Community, in celebrating Chinese New Year: Year of the Dragon.

This event is free and attendees will be able to take part in activities and enjoy performances for all ages, including:

• Meet the Wealthy God to collect your ‘Red Pocket’ full of blessings
• Lion Dance
• Tea Tasting
• Cultural Storytelling
• Calligraphy
• Chinese Chess
• KungFu Demo
• Chinese Music & Dance
• Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Traditional Dress try-on

No booking required, just come along to the library between 12:00 and 15:00.
