Let's Explore Wellbeing! - Schools

In celebration of this year’s Festival of Social Sciences, Cardiff University would like to invite primary and secondary schools to explore our research and the variety of ways the social sciences support lifelong wellbeing at our 'Let's Explore Wellbeing!' day.

In line with the new curriculum for Wales, the event aims to build student's knowledge and understanding around the social sciences while exploring the different components of wellbeing.

Year 6, 7 and 8 pupils will be given the opportunity to explore interactive stands, exhibits and small-group workshops delivered by social science researchers from Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor Universities. The young people will also be encouraged to take part in a competition where they can tell us what lifelong wellbeing means to them.
