Book launch: Sartre's Existential Psychoanalysis

Join us to celebrate the publication of a major new book by Cardiff University philosopher Dr Mary Edwards.

Sartre's Existential Psychoanalysis: Knowing Others, recently published by Bloomsbury Press, presents a detailed analysis of Jean-Paul Sartre's theory of how you can know everything about yourself or another person.

It is the first book to focus on the role his psychoanalysis played in the development of his philosophy. The book draws out implications of Sartre's theory for contemporary philosophy and psychology, and for the practice of psychotherapy.

Drinks and snacks will be available to buy. There will be a couple of short speeches.
