Rates of mental health problems in young people are increasing, especially emotional problems in girls, with 1 in 6 young people having major difficulties with their mental health. This can have major impact on their development, friendships, family life and long-term outcomes.
Join Professor Stephan Collishaw, co-director of the Wolfson Centre for Young People's Mental Health and Dr Joanna Martin (PhD 2015), Research Fellow both from the Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences as they discuss Cardiff’s pioneering work to develop a better understanding of young people’s mental health.
