We all know using walking and cycling for transport is great for health, carbon emissions and traffic congestion – but how can we plan better active travel networks?

This workshop will demonstrate the latest simulation tools jointly developed by Cardiff University Sustainable Places Research Institute, Leeds University Institute for Transport Studies, and Sustrans - the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. Participants will be able to explore simulation results online for our pilot work funded by Monmouthshire council.
