Paul Robeson – a concert inspired by his life and work

As the creator of the Paul Robeson exhibition, Beverley Humphreys (singer and BBC radio host) will give a brief introduction about Robeson, his life as a musician, actor and political activist. 

Inspired by his legacy, students from Cardiff University School of Music will then perform, in various ensembles, songs and arrangements, in jazz, classical and folk idioms, that Robeson recorded.
