A one day conference
Our busy summer programme of events will continue on Monday July 1st at 10.30am, when we will welcome Kirsty Williams AM, Welsh Minister for Education, to the Business School to discuss what Public Value means to her, and how Universities can play their part in improving the wellbeing of Wales. We will also share how our research is making a difference, and will hear from people and organisations about what this work means to them. Academics presenting include: Prof. Rachel Ashworth, Prof. Calvin Jones, Prof. Martin Kitchener, Prof. Melanie Jones, Prof. Vicki Wass, Dr Alison Parken OBE, Prof. Ed Heery, Dr Jon Gosling and Prof. James Downe.
The event will close with a wine reception at around 4.00pm, when Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, will launch our new book which explores Public Value.
