The day will focus on key aspects of successful grant applications to fund research in the NHS and social care. We will discuss how to put together a high-quality grant application, and use examples of grants and feedback from funding panels to illustrate how to maximize your chances of success.
You will gain insight into some key components of an application; the day will be a mix of presentations and hands-on activities and will cover research plans, lay summaries, health economics and input from Cardiff and the Vale Research and Development. RDCS consultants with expertise and experience in grant writing, study design and management, quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistics and health economics will be accessible to provide tips and feedback on your individual project.
