We are delighted to announce the full line-up of speakers for next month’s College Symposium.
Exploring the theme of ‘sustainable futures’, the Symposium will feature talks on a range of cutting-edge research being undertaken at Cardiff University, including how communities recover from large earthquakes, using catalysts for clean growth and exploring new, conceptual strategies to address sustainable urban futures.
The Symposium will bring together staff and students from across the University, along with colleagues from industry, to hear from eminent thinkers and leading academics.
This year we are delighted to be welcoming Professor Jacqueline McGlade as our keynote speaker. Professor McGlade is the Frank Jackson Foundation Professor of the Environment at Gresham College. She is also a Professor of Resilience and Sustainable Development at University College London and Professor at the Maasai Mara University in Kenya.
