Higher Education Roadshow

The Higher Education Roadshow offers a variety of inspiring talks and workshops to students in years 9-11, primarily in schools throughout Wales.

A collaborative project with Cardiff Metropolitan University, this project primarily targets areas where there are low progression rates to higher education and focuses on helping students to reach their potential, as well as demystifying the university experience through overcoming common misconceptions. The project:

  • delivers over 100 talks each year
  • reaches over 20,000 pupils
  • spends hundreds of hours working hard in schools and community groups delivering sessions
  • delivers regional weeks in North, Mid and West Wales, as well as travelling across Wales at a time that suits you

Our most popular talks include:

  • What is Higher Education?
  • Making the Right Choices (GCSEs & A-Levels)
  • Study Skills & Revision
  • Is University Worth It?
  • Budgeting University
  • An Introduction to Sports Subjects at University
  • Building Resilience & Managing your Mental Health
