Discovery Project
- January, February, March, July, October, November, December
- Up to 2 hours
Discovery is for autistic 14 to 19-year-olds who might be interested in attending university.
Through fortnightly sessions, participants will learn about key elements of university as well as develop university-based skills and confidence. Our Student Ambassadors, current students at Cardiff, will be at every event to answer questions and give participants tips and tricks for navigating student life. There will also be the opportunity for participants to receive extra support for their applications to college and university – for example with their personal statements.
Discovery also runs a summer programme which can include staying overnight in university accommodation and further activities to familiarise participants with university life.
An autism assessment is not required to attend Discovery.
