Following on from the College’s successful award of a third round of Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund (ISSF), funding is available for Wellcome Trust ISSF3 Public Engagement Proof-of-Concept awards.
The ISSF3 Public Engagement Proof-of-Concept award will consider applications for new and innovative small-scale proof-of-concept public engagement up to £7,500.
Before applying for the award, applicants can take advantage of a suite of public engagement training opportunities which have been developed to place applicants in a competitive position to apply for the ISSF3 Public Engagement Proof-of-Concept award.
The Public Engagement Development Programme enables researchers to present and discuss their engagement ideas, and develop an approach that facilitates a two-way dialogue with the public. Coverage of evaluation methods will ensure we can demonstrate that the public engagement activity has benefited the public’s perceptions/ engagement with the topic.
Once fully matured, applications for small-scale proof-of-concept public engagement will be considered by the College Engagement Panel.
