Strengthening educational attainment

Cardiff University has a strong commitment to strengthening educational attainment across the Cardiff Capital Region.

To support this we work closely with schools, teachers and school governors to help strengthen educational provision. We recognise that this is an area where there are many needs and welcome opportunities to explore new and innovative ways of supporting pupils to achieve higher educational outcomes that will provide them with greater opportunities in the future and secure the foundations of a well-educated society.

For Cardiff Capital Region, improving the skills base of the workforce is identified as a key challenge. Addressing this challenge begins at the school-level and we are pleased to be able to support schools in their work and to help to widen access to graduate education opportunities.
