People

We're home to a lively group of postgraduates, externally-funded research fellows and postdoctoral scientists.

We're also comprised of academics, lab managers and core support staff, and this group is further complemented by the visiting researchers, collaborators, industrial partners and interns with which we share our corridors and with whom we exchange ideas and knowledge.

A multidisciplinary approach

The Centre comes under the framework of the School of Psychology, but we recognise the importance of thinking innovatively and creatively, and we achieve this by bringing together staff and students from other Schools in the University, including the School of Biosciences, School of Computer Science, School of Engineering, School of Medicine, School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, and the School of Physics and Astronomy.

An international team

This wide range of expertise contributes to the vibrant, multi-disciplinary community we have here at the Centre. We are also a highly international research unit, with staff and students hailing from more than 30 different countries around the world.
