We are located at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), Wales’ largest hospital, on the Heath Park campus in Cardiff.
We relocated after a £5.4M investment from the Department of Surgery to the Henry Wellcome Building in November 2013. Our location boasts newly refurbished offices and multidisciplinary laboratories which include cutting-edge facilities and equipment:

As we are based at the University Hospital of Wales, we are also able to arrange clinical placements for our visiting doctors and surgeons.
I gained lots of experience in the lab, using the most advanced equipment and latest techniques. I also developed my clinical knowledge by spending time at the Cardiology Department. Everyone I met was enthusiastic and I made lots of great friends.
