Innovation Network
We have introduced hundreds of organisations to our expertise, knowledge and facilities through our Innovation Network.
Founded in 1996, the Innovation Network's aim is to develop a stronger network of links between organisations and academics, in order to create opportunities for collaboration, innovation and growth in Wales.
Mission
- to provide opportunities for Business to Business and Business to University links across technical and business disciplines.
- to provide means by which Cardiff University skills and Know-How can be applied to organisational problems
- to raise awareness of innovation support and good practice for all sectors
We have over 2000 members who represent organisations from a wide range of sizes and sectors, as well as academics. Around 70% of our members are local small and medium-sized enterprises.
We hold a series of free events throughout the year, covering topics on innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship. These events provide a great opportunity to connect with our expertise and with local organisations, and to hear inspirational, thought-provoking speakers.
To stay up-to-date with relevant funding opportunities and business support guidance, please sign up to our membership and choose to be added to our mailing list.
Everyone benefits from the Innovation Network’s interchange and interaction.
We deliver a regular programme of events and workshops on the University campus, on topics including innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
Free networking events for business people, academics and those who work for business support organisations, such as Welsh Government or local councils.
