Public value events series
We are committed to hosting a range of internal and external talks and events as part of our public value mission.
We have welcomed a number of prominent academics and practitioners to the School to discuss themes and areas aligned with our public value principles.
In particular, we were pleased to welcome:
- Professor Timo Meynhardt, Managing Director of the Centre for Leadership and Values in Society at the University of St. Gallen, Switzterland
- Professor Mark Moore, Hauser Professor of Nonprofit Organisations at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University
- Professor John Brewer, Professor of Post Conflict Studies, Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation and Social Justice at Queen's University Belfast.
Our series has included: noted educationist Sir Michael Barber’s public lecture; the launch of Oxfam GB Senior Strategic Adviser Duncan Green’s new book on social and political change; hosting Cardiff University’s Home of Innovation lecture with JoJo Maman Bébé founder, and ethical business champion, Laura Tenison.
