Careers and employability
Our graduates enter into a variety of careers from major global organisations to small boutique companies.
According to the latest survey, 94.6% of graduates were in employment and/or further study, due to start a new job or course, or doing other activities such as travelling, 15 months after the end of their course (Graduate Outcomes survey 2021/22).
Employment destinations span the private, public and third sectors across the UK, Europe and internationally. Companies represented include Sky, Barclays Corporate, Citibank, Deloitte, KPMG, Microsoft, JP Morgan and BMW.
Employability is important to us and we are committed to preparing you for life outside of education, supporting you to achieve your future career ambitions in a competitive job market. Whether you have a clear idea regarding what you’d like to do upon graduation or no idea at all, we are here to help, guide, and support you through your journey.
Within the School, you will have access to a dedicated Careers Centre (this is in addition to the support services offered by the University) offering a business-specific service to assist you in realising your career ambitions.
We also offer a number of opportunities to increase your work experience and introduce you to the practical world of business. These can be short periods of work tied to a specific project or a professional placement year.
Remember, it is never too early to start planning for your future employability, so grasp the opportunities available and get off to a flying start.
