UK-Japan Neuroscience Symposium 2023

The 5th UK-Japan Neuroscience symposium will be held at the Vale Resort in Wales (UK), jointly sponsored by the Medical Research Council (UK) and AMED (Japan).

The meeting aims to bring together leading scientists from the UK and Japan to present talks and foster discussion on the latest areas of fundamental and medically applied Neuroscience research.

The three day meeting will cover topics in five main session on Motor Neurone disease/Frontotemporal dementia, Neurospsychiatric disorders and computational psychiatry, New Methods and novel technology, Circuits and Behaviour and Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.

There will be a poster session preceded by a poster-blitz, two talks by the poster prize winners from our previous meeting in Japan at Karuizawa and two plenary talks, one by Professor Trevor Robbins (Cambridge University) and one by Professor Haruhiko Bito (University of Tokyo Graduate school of Medicine).
