Our outreach activities include primary school workshops, design and build summer projects in Indonesia and constructing new facilities in Zambia.

Shape My Street Competition

The Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) run an annual Shape My Street competition. The competition has been designed to introduce young learners to ideas about home, place and community.

To support the aims of this project, undergraduate students from the School, with support from the University’s Schools Partnership Project and WJEC have developed a series of free teaching and learning resources.

These include worksheets, step-by-step lesson tasks and PowerPoint presentations to introduce architecture through the Primary and Welsh Baccalaureate curriculum.
