Undergraduate
We equip our undergraduates with the skills needed to design and create beautiful buildings that respond to changing technological, social, cultural, economic and professional contexts.
At the Welsh School of Architecture, your journey to becoming a fully-qualified architect starts with our three-year BSc Architectural Studies (ARB/RIBA Part 1). After completing the BSc, you can go on to study our two-year Master of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2), where you will spend a year on an architectural practice placement, honing your professional experience.
The final step is to complete our PgDip in Architecture: Professional Practice (ARB/RIBA Part 3) delivered through blended learning, while you're in full-time employment. This diploma is equivalent to the RIBA Examination in Professional Practice (Part 3), and qualifies you to practice as an architect.
