AHRC Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) Funding
The AHRC provides the University with a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) which may be used towards the costs of study visits (in the UK and overseas) and of overseas conference attendance for AHRC-funded doctoral students. This scheme replaces previous arrangements administered directly by the AHRC.
RTSG funding can be used to support AHRC-funded doctoral students only. This includes BGP, Collaborative Doctoral Awards and similar initiatives (such as Science and Heritage) but excludes ‘tied’ studentships that are funded via AHRC research grants.
The deadlines for applications in 2012-13 are:
Round 1: 7 November 2012
Round 2: 10 April 2013
