The purpose of my visit:
On September 4-6, 2006 I attended the international conference: Future Matters: Futures Known, Created and Minded, presenting the paper "New Biographical Constructions in the 'Risk Society'? About Future and Planning".
On October 26th, 2006 I presented a seminar on "Rethinking Responsibility: Sociological Perspectives", Autumn 2006 Seminar Series: New Challenges for the Social Science.

I worked with Professor Barbara Adam.
What I gained from my visit:
Both the experiences were particularly positive. I had the occasion to exchange ideas and meet several colleagues involved in the same field of studies. Further exchanges were planned.
